Carpe Novo
Amir Mansoor Ma. Manas Nikagas Hingun Male'
About
Carpe Novo is the flagship of the Carpe Diem Maldives fleet, a 43-metre wooden-hulled liveaboard built in the Maldives by fourth-generation boat-builder Amir Mansoor, the same craftsman behind Carpe Diem and Carpe Vita. Spread over three decks plus a sun deck, she is the largest and most spacious of the three sisters, carrying up to 22 guests with a crew of ten plus a further three on the diving support vessel.
Twelve cabins, ranging from junior and single suites to standard rooms, are individually air-conditioned with private bathrooms. Shared spaces include an open-air upper-deck restaurant and bar, a main-deck lounge, a dedicated camera room and a shaded sun deck. Diving is run from a 61-foot dhoni at three dives a day with nitrox and a PADI school on board, and seven- and ten-night itineraries run year-round to the central and southern atolls.
