About
MV Ari Queen is a 33-metre dive-safari boat working the central atolls out of Male on a Saturday-to-Saturday schedule, run by a PADI 5-Star operation. She sleeps up to 24 divers in 12 air-conditioned en-suite cabins spread across three decks.
A typical week delivers around 17 dives, including a night dive, all staged from a dedicated dive dhoni that keeps the diving logistics separate from the main boat. Routes take in North and South Male, Rasdhoo and the Ari atolls, targeting manta and whale-shark aggregations, reef sharks, turtles and the occasional hammerhead. Nitrox is available for a weekly supplement.
