Amba Dive Maldives (Amba Maldives)

AMBA is a 32-metre liveaboard built from solid tropical hardwood, blending German engineering with Maldivian boatbuilding, and owned and run by a German team with more than 25 years in the liveaboard business, the owners typically live aboard and guide the trips themselves. She takes 20 divers in ten cabins, each with a private bathroom and adjustable air conditioning.

Diving is handled from a separate dive dhoni, with two Bauer compressors and a nitrox membrane system carrying Bauer Pure Air certification so guests can verify fill quality. The classic route runs eleven days through Ari, Vaavu and Male atolls on hand-picked sites, aimed at experienced divers: a minimum of 30 logged dives, nitrox certification and comfort in moderate current are expected.
