Adora (Safari Adora)

MV Adora is a purpose-built dive liveaboard that has cruised Maldivian waters since 2014, operated by Maldives Boat Club. Stretching 37 metres with a 10-metre beam, she carries up to 21 guests across 11 en-suite cabins and balances comfortable long-range cruising with serious diving.

Diving is run from a dedicated 20-metre dhoni that shadows the mother ship, keeping tanks, compressors and gear off the main deck so guests can gear up and roll straight into the current. Nitrox is available, and itineraries typically loop through the central atolls, North and South Male, Ari, Rasdhoo and Vaavu, chasing mantas, whale sharks and the reef sharks of the channels.

Above deck the Adora offers an air-conditioned saloon and bar with an entertainment system plus a cushioned sundeck for surface intervals, while cabins come with private bathrooms, individually controlled air conditioning, a mini bar, flat-screen TV, safe and Wi-Fi.
