Site Description

Year-round whale shark encounters peak January to April and August to October at this beginner-to-intermediate South Ari Atoll site with mild to moderate ocean currents. Manta rays, yellowfin and skipjack tunas, jacks, barracuda, grey reef sharks, and eagle rays accompany whale sharks, while fusilier bait balls attract larger predators.
